Welcome to the webpage for the Lee County Chapter of the Defenders LE M/C

The Members Section is under construction right now, but the rest of the site (Future Rides/Events/Calendar) are slowly growing and being updated each day.

As you probably know, we are a Law Enforcement based Motorcycle club that includes active and retired members who are police officers, deputy sheriffs, corrections officers, firefighters, EMS, probation officers, state and federal investigators, park rangers, public safety, government officials, and military. We also have a few select "friends" who are fine upstanding citizens and who meet the strict criteria that if they wanted to become law enforcement officers, they would be eligible.

We are a family oriented organization. We encourage spouses and significant others to come out and ride with us. Sometimes, even our children come out on rides. We employ a brotherhood philosophy of one for all and all for one. Our priorities are simple...Family, Job, and Club...in that order. And everyone in the club is a member of our extended family.

The Defenders Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club was born June of 2004 in Naples, Florida. We have come a long way since then - with seven thriving chapters in Florida: Naples, Lee County, Charlotte County, Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, Panama, Central Florida and out of state chapters in Massachusetts, South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kansas and Missouri. More chapters are currently in the works.

New members are on "probation" for 90 days. Then you become eligible for full membership after a vote by the chapter members. Much of this is based on participation and the members getting to know you as well as you getting to know them.

We usually have one or two rides during the week and also on the weekends. These rides include going to local restaurants, bike nights, movies, and various sponsored rides/events. We also have overnight trips, week long trips, camping trips, and all kinds of trips. The ride opportunities are endless.
